What is this site? Built On Side covers side hustles, faceless online business, and small business basics, written from actual experience, not just research. See the About page for who's behind it.

Are there affiliate links on this site? Yes. Some articles link to paid products or services I earn a commission from. That's disclosed inline and in full on the Affiliate Disclosure page.

Does that mean the reviews are biased? I only link to things I've used or watched closely enough to actually vouch for, and I don't leave out the annoying parts just because there's a commission involved. If something's genuinely bad, I'll say so and skip the link.

Do you guarantee I'll make money if I try what you write about? No. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of results. Any figures mentioned describe a specific business or model as documented by the company behind it, not what you'll personally earn. Full detail in the Terms of Service.

How often is content updated? New articles go up as they're written, not on a fixed schedule. Older articles get updated if something in them stops being accurate.

Can I sign up for updates? Yes, it's free. No paid tiers, no payment info collected. Unsubscribe any time from the link in any email.
